Style Lockdown

I am slowly making my way to a complete style that I could use for future projects. I am very happy to have finally been able to implement light color onto the toon shading. The shader is still incomplete, as it does not support interchangeable texture mapping, or color mapping for the ramps. But once I figure that out, the shader will be complete.

The next step will be to introduce mapping for
- Roughness

- Metallic

- Emission

- Normal/Bump

There is still a lot of grease pencil/rigging complications that are hard to predict. I think practice will be important.

Grease Pencil animatable 3d Character

 Messing Around with grease Pencil.
I am trying to find a way to animate a grease pencil puppet. I think I have found a 2d 3d animation hybrid that I am happy with.

While modeling I felt like I was making some character from ff7...

Gotta do some more testing, as well as really understand how to make the grease pencil look good in 3d.

The Pulchrus

The Pulchrus is an accursed cyclop who can replicate anything his evil eye can spy with precision and murderous intent. Hellbent into replacing all that is real with a copy of its own creation. The copies, called Echoes, venerate the being as a god, and seek their originals to murder them.

Pulchrus is also known to keenly replicate limbs or body parts to adorn itself. You would rather not encounter this thing down the dungeon...

Kobold Lair

Lately I have been into hand-painting dungeons for D&D. I made a bunch of brushes in Clip studio, and a bunch of textures in Krita. This Dungeon is part of a larger random complex I created with the help of my wife.  I am planning to release a 1 inch grid version to use for tabletop.
